Spike Closing Wheel Scraper
- Designed for the Spike Closing Wheel
- scraper cleans the wheel as the spike exits the soil
- prevents build-up on wheels which can impair the spike’s ability to penetrate the soil to proper depths for seed trench sealing
- operates in close proximity to the outer diameter of the wheel, ensuring that teeth and wheel depth-band remain residue- and mud-free
- especially effective in no-till fields where residue distribution is heavy
- the perfect solution to prevent mud build-up in damp soil conditions
- utilizes the momentum of the wheel to help remove debris effectively

"Yetter Manufacturing’s 2984 Mavericks are the right tool for my strip-till operation.
I’ve used them for six or seven seasons," said Daryl Sorensen.
Daryl’s Mavericks are mounted on a toolbar that he runs through about 400 acres before
planting corn and soybeans into the well-prepared seedbed. "They do a good job of
loosening the soil."
This year, Daryl added rolling basket attachments from Yetter to his strip-till setup to
further enhance performance. "The rolling baskets mellow out the soil and eliminate
clumps," he said.
"The Mavericks and now the rolling baskets have contributed to stronger plant stands and increased yields for my operation," Daryl said.
